Throughout the Bible, God makes clear His heart for the widow and the orphan, for the poor and the sick, for the hungry and the homeless—those most vulnerable to the challenges of this fallen world.  God calls us to join Him in His care for those in need even as He commissions us to share His love and His Gospel in our community and beyond.

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world. – James 1:27

Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me…Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’ – Matthew 25:34-36, 40

Through the SCCF Community Trust, annual grants are made to a large cross-section of Christian ministries serving communities across the Palmetto State. These ministries address causes including (but not limited to):

  • Homelessness

  • Foster Care & Adoption

  • Addiction Recovery

  • Human Trafficking

  • Correctional Ministries

  • Elderly

  • Mental & Emotional Health

  • Inner City/At-risk Youth

  • Schools/University Campus Ministry

While reaching people in need in these areas, recipients of grants from the Community Trust are also sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By supporting the Community Trust, you join others in meeting a multitude of needs, the greatest of which is the need for a Savior.
