Circle 555 gives financial gifts to ministries as God provides through members who cheerfully give. While these gifts are important, I submit that there is a greater gift—the gift of prayer. We are instructed in the Word of God to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Praying for the ministries gives them so very much more, enabling them to fulfill the call God has placed on their lives to serve and meet the needs of His children and families. There are many needs among us, for which we do not know how they can be met, BUT.
But we pray trusting God and “leaning not to our understanding” that He can, and He will provide “according to His riches in glory.”
We ought to always pray, we ought to pray at all times, and we must be constant in prayer. These words are straight from God’s Words, where we read that “all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
Our financial gifts will purchase tangible items and provide opportunities, but prayers deliver hope—hope for those things which seem impossible, hope to keep on keeping on, and hope to be able to achieve all things through Christ. As the funds are used, our prayers keep on giving that which goes farther than the funds provided, or that which we could ever imagine.
Some may ask, “What can I pray for; or how can I pray for you?”
I submit to you, "Don't ask, just pray." When asked, not everyone replies with their needs, but everyone has needs. So, if you believe in Him, just pray. Go on and pray for that brother or sister, that ministry, and trust the Holy Spirit to meet their every need. The Scriptures remind us that when “we do not know what we ought to pray for, the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” We don’t need to know the specifics; we simply must trust and pray.
Pray fervently.
Pray believing in a God who beckons us to come to Him.
Pray for the reward He already has for us.
We simply must pray.
Don't ask; just pray.
Dear God,
Hear my heart’s prayer, as I come to you on behalf of each woman in the Circle who care enough to give of their finances. Bless them in that which they stand in need and desire. As you did, may we be reminded that you prayed for us. Like you prayed, Father, I am praying for each to feel your presence and receive the strength and joy that only you can give. When their heart cries, let them be reminded that you are joy. I pray God, just like you did for all who believe, knowing that you are a rewarder of those who diligently seek you. I come to you because I believe in your Word, which speaks that we must pray for all on all occasions. God, I don't ask. I just pray. Thank you for hearing my heart 💜. Amen.
